- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The vet I saw was a breath of fresh air. Our cat is 13years old and has had diabetes for 2 years. During this time we've had 2 different vets due to moving house, with the last vet putting our cat through numerous expensive tests to 'see how his diabetes is doing' but then not acting on the results. The vet we saw informed me we can test his diabetes at home, explained what we needed to buy to do this, where to download a free app from for recording results. She also picked up on a few other issues I had previously raised with other vets and explained either what they meant, if they might require further testing, or if it was nothing to worry about.
